Passion. Experience. Diligence.
I am a California licensed attorney focused on wrongful conviction advocacy and bar exam tutoring.
Before becoming an attorney, I spent several years negotiating contracts in a corporate setting, where I developed a strong foundation in analysis, strategy, and disciplined problem-solving. Over time, I felt a growing pull toward using those skills in a more direct and meaningful way.
That path led me to law school.
I attended law school at night while continuing to work full-time, an experience that required focus, persistence, and a clear sense of purpose. During that time, I worked in civil rights clinics and, most significantly, with Loyola Project for the Innocent, where I conducted in-depth review and investigation of wrongful conviction claims.
That work confirmed what had drawn me to the law in the first place: a commitment to advocating for individuals who have been wrongfully convicted and navigating one of the most difficult and complex areas of the legal system.
Through consistent effort and discipline, I passed the California Bar Exam on my first attempt while continuing to work full-time. That experience now informs my work with bar candidates, where I focus on strategy, structure, and accountability to help others reach the same goal.
Today, my work is centered on two areas: wrongful conviction advocacy and bar exam tutoring. While different in form, both reflect the same underlying commitment—to apply the law thoughtfully, work with precision, and support individuals through critical turning points.
The philosophy that guides every matter is straightforward:
Clarity Over Optimism
Clients deserve an honest assessment of what the law actually provides — not what we might hope it will be.
Scope Before Action
Before any work begins, expectations are clearly defined: what I will do, how the work will proceed, and what falls outside the scope of representation.
Respect for Process and People
Every matter represents a person, a future, and real-world consequences. Thoughtful advocacy and instruction require both discipline and respect for that reality.
I intentionally work with a limited number of clients to provide focused, individualized attention. Whether you are seeking to challenge a wrongful conviction or reach bar passage, my goal is to offer clear guidance, thoughtful work, and support grounded in integrity.
